Packaging and the drive

The Xporter XT Boost drive is supplied in a plastic package, common for flash drives. The design of the packaging is very simple and there is very little information about the drive on it, but it provides effective protection during transport. Inside the package you will also find a small extension cable and a useful silver lanyard.

The Patriot Xporter XT Boost is a rectangular black drive with a rubber-like body, much like Corsair’s Voyager and ATP’s ToughDrive drives. The company and model logo as well as the size of the drive are engraved on the body and the letters are red. The Xporter XT is slightly larger than an AA battery and there is a small blue access LED light at the top of the body. The cap can also be inserted at the rear part of the drive, where the lanyard can be attached. Strangely, there is no hole where the lanyard is supposed to go through, you will have to punch a hole with a small screwdriver or a sharp knife yourself.
