Project
Analyze and design a data management system, which is intended to perform the following functions
1. Populate data into a database system on a pre-specfied time intervals.
2. Generate daily reports using the data provided in the database.
Each project consists of a team of SW engineers. The team members will distribute the tasks among themselves as follows
1. Read text files and analyze the data, and extract the appropriate attributes for the database
2. Construct table fields based on the output of task (1) above
3. Generate SQL commands to populate the database with the tables obtained in task (2) above
4. Construct the database, which will be used by the taks defined in (1), (2) and (3) above
5. Generate reports based on pre-specfied requirements; report requirements are to be defined by all team members.
Each team will consist of 5 members. Each member has well defined task for his team.
The team members must collectively define the requirements for the data management system. They must define the structure of the database. They must define the format of the text files, and all requirements for the project.
