What is the newest basketball shoes?
The Nike Kobe AD Mid is still going strong as Nike will continue to give us new colorways as we head into the Summer. The latest pair takes on an appealing look as the upper has been covered in Black while the embroidered Swoosh logos on the side panels are done in white and Metallic Gold. Additional details include Metallic Gold on the tongue branding, a white and gold midsole, and a gum rubber outsole.
Whether it be his love for the residents of Bikini Bottom, the honoring of his mother, or even the “Mamba Mentality” that he carries with him every night he steps foot on the floor, personal connections are often found within Kyrie Irving‘s signature kicks. And being that family has always played a significant role in the All-Star point guard’s life, he’s dedicating this next Kyrie 6 variation to his beloved older sister (and at one point personal stylist) Asia Irving. Expressive of her fashion forward mind, these hoops-ready kicks stand out mostly due to their black/charcoal grey camouflage graphics – which almost evoke memories of signature BAPE patterns – printed across the toe box, as well as the embroidered medial walls that house her namesake. Against its stark black backdrop arrives a minty green throat held together by a set of violet shoe strings, followed by a mid-foot strap that welcomes in a tiny Swoosh insignia towards its tip for the the first time. Enjoy a first look here below, and stay tuned for more information regarding its official release likely on Kyrie 6 PreHeat and at select stockists.
With signatures of LeBron James, Kobe Bryant, Paul George, and Giannis Antetokounmpo already checked off of the list, it was only going to be a matter of time before NBA2K20 and Nike tossed 2-time champion Kevin Durant into their ongoing series of gamer exclusives. After dropping the PG 4 in a digital camouflage makeover last week, the two parties are now transitioning to the New KD 13 to jump start the month of May. Similar to the silhouette’s “Hype” colorway, this forthcoming iteration presents its decor with an all-over approach. Wallpapered across its upper arrives what almost looks like a hand-painted mosaic of multi-colored floral patterns and gold chains. In addition, the surrounding accents of pastel greens resting on the treading, and throat, as well as the peachy gradient hit towards the bottom of the Swoosh call draw palette similarities to the newly released KD 13 “Chill”. For gamers who are interested, you can unlock purchasing access by winning a MyPLAYER Nation playoff game starting on May 4th, but be sure to act quickly as pairs are going to be limited. Peep a detailed look here below and good luck!
Despite not being named an NBA All-Star for the upcoming Chicago-held contest, Paul George and Nike are sticking to original plans and releasing the third installment of the PG 4 this weekend.Clad in a tye-dye pattern, zippered mesh-covers up top deviate from the beverage company’s previous mostly-blue takes on the PG 4. Purples, greens, and teals “stain” the model’s toe box and lateral side, while “Barely Volt” tidies up medial construction. “Total Orange” bases, inspired by Gatorade’s lightning bolt logo, peek through the breathable, fastened component and are surrounded by collar lining, zippers, and heel tabs in the same citrus hue. Swoosh logos follow suit, but only on lateral walls given that The Sports Fuel Company’s aforementioned emblem replaces typical Nike-branding on the medial heel. The PG 4’s full-length Air cushioning system also joins in on the color medley, with midsoles opting-in for a speckled “Total Orange” arrangement, while the performance-outsole goes two-tone in teal and PG 4 Gatorade signature orange.
The Star Wars X Adidas Ultra Boost 2019 “Millennium Falcon” pays homage to Han Solo’s memorable Millennium Falcon ship that first debuted for the Star Wars franchise kick-off — Star Wars: A New Hope in 1977. The shoe dons a dark grey Primeknit construction with contrasting white accents, while maroon hits are also implemented throughout. Other details include a blue “Millennium Falcon” logo printed on the tongue, while the heel area bears the text, “Jump to Lightspeed.” Finally, the theme is capped off with a graphic of the Millennium Falcon printed on the dark grey Boost midsole to round it out.The next installment of the Star Wars x adidas Collection will be dropping this week. This pack goes by the name of the Star Wars x adidas Space Battle Pack. The Star Wars x adidas Space Battle Pack includes the adidas Ultra Boost S&L, Ultra Boost 2019 and Alphaedge 4D. All of the pairs are inspired by the starships of the Rebel Alliance and Galactic Empire. The X-Wing Starfighter inspires the adidas Ultra Boost S&L. The shoe comes dressed in a color scheme reminiscent of the ship’s grey and orange artillery and outer shell. The Most Responsive Shoe in the Galaxy comes equipped with glow-in-the-dark elements, semi-shiny engineered mesh and metalized stripes, making it a standout in low-light environments. A leather cage sits atop a Boost sole and the style is finished with iconic quotes like “STAY ON TARGET” and “THE FORCE WILL BE WITH YOU, ALWAYS” on each heel’s webbing. The Millennium Falcon inspired Ultra Boost 2019 footwear immortalizes yet another iconic starship. Nike KD 12 Aunt Pearl
Kevin Durant draws a lot of hate for many things, form leaving OKC to form an unprecedented NBA superteam to self-defending burner accounts on social media — but one can’t discredit his compassion for those who are currently, and have suffered from Breast Cancer. His continued support of the Kay Yow Cancer Fund is a testament to Durant’s character. His “KD 12 Aunt Pearl” series, which serves as a platform to honor his late aunt, has continued to raise funds for charity for nearly a decade through special release signature sneakers. This year’s effort utilizes a full spectrum of pink — a welcome change from the previous two tonal takes — ranging from barely-there pink on the velour tongues, liners, and Swooshes, to hot pink marbleized sole units and contrast stitching. Floral underlays at the heel are reminiscent of the KD 6 and 8 editions, while the unmistakable angle wing lacestay overlay from the KD 5 returns, this time in pastel pink. “Aunt Pearl” embroidery hits grace the tongues, with the underside sending a message the embodies the spirit of the sneaker series. Insoles should look familiar, too, with a geometric print ripped straight from the KD 5, and a special 3D embroidered KD 12 logo hits the heels completes the design.
